Mark Beltzman Class on Sunday

BeltzmanMark Beltzman is teaching a class on Sunday afternoon at Central Station, King’s Cross, organized by Gareth Morinan. There are places still available, so I recommend you get yourself along to it.

Most adverts for his classes have hinged on his remarkable CV, but I say: never mind about his movie and TV credits, his founding role in iO in Chicago, his acting chops, his celebrity status and starry friends. Forget about all that bollocks. What matters is that he is a genuinely lovely bloke, and one of the most enthusiastic and generous teachers I’ve encountered. He’s a proper teacher, which in my book means that he’s less about imparting a specific set of takeaway skills and more about creating the best environment in which to fail gloriously, gain awareness of yourself, get out of your own way and focus on the needs of the group.

Class details are here. Go for it.
